“We very much hope this is something which we can grow each year. Come rain or shine, all the racing staff across the country put in long hours and behind every horse that visits Newbury or any other racecourse, we know there is a big team who work incredibly hard to make it happen and we are happy to support such a worthwhile initiative.”
Additionally, Newbury Racecourse in association with NAORS, will make a number of complimentary Grandstand admission tickets available for Racing Staff for their upcoming Party in the Paddock events which take place on Saturday 20 July starring Tom Jones live after racing and the popular Madness who will take to the stage on Saturday 17 August. Tickets will be issued on a first come first served basis in advance by visiting the main reception at Newbury Racecourse.
– 50 x Grandstand tickets for Tom Jones on Saturday 20 July 2019
– 50 x Grandstand tickets for Madness on Saturday 17 August 2019
Racing Staff Week celebrates the dedication and specialist skills of those who work in the racing industry – the stable staff, stud staff, racecourse staff, gallop people, stalls handlers, valets and all the others who play a vital role in the production of British horseracing. It also aims to raise the profile of Racing Welfare, the only charity that supports all of racing’s workforce.
